These guidelines apply to everything you post, send or do on DCZ, including profile text, names, usernames, photos, messages, groups, events, travel plans and posts. They are part of the Terms of Service. Breaking them can lead to removal of content and to the end of your account.
1. Be who you say you are
- Use your own photos and real details. No fake, borrowed, stolen or AI-generated identities presented as real.
- One account per person or couple. Do not create new accounts to avoid a ban or a block.
- Do not impersonate any person, business or DCZ staff.
2. Respect and consent come first
- “No” means no. Stop contacting anyone who asks you to or who has blocked you.
- Never pressure, guilt, coerce, threaten or blackmail anyone.
- No harassment, bullying, stalking, hate, slurs or abuse, including about caste, religion, race, nationality, gender, sexuality, disability or body.
- Consent must be clear, informed, ongoing and can be withdrawn. Nothing on the Platform is consent to anything off it.
3. Photos, video and anything you share
- Only upload content you own or have permission to share, and where every person shown is an adult who has agreed to it being uploaded.
- Never share another person's private content: no screenshots, forwarding, recording or posting of private photos, video, messages or details without that person's clear permission.
- Intimate imagery shared without consent, and threats to share it, are strictly prohibited and are reported. See the Take It Down Act Policy.
- Content must follow the visibility and access rules the Platform provides for it. Do not try to work around them.
- Public areas, including usernames, display names, headlines, About text and public posts, must be free of sexually explicit or abusive wording. Text that breaks this rule is refused when you save it or is masked.
4. Absolutely prohibited
- Anything involving or sexualising a person under 18. Reported to the authorities.
- Exploitation, trafficking, prostitution, escorting or the sale of sexual services, and any form of paid sexual activity.
- Scams, fraud, requests for money, romance or investment schemes, and phishing.
- Violence, threats, self-harm encouragement, terrorism and dangerous organisations.
- Illegal drugs, weapons, stolen goods and any other illegal activity.
- Publishing another person's private information (doxxing), including contact details, workplace, address or identity documents.
- Recording or livestreaming anyone without their knowledge and consent.
5. No spam, promotion or outside recruiting
- No advertising, affiliate links, mass messaging, or promotion of other services or websites unless the Platform expressly provides for it.
- No attempts to move members to other apps in order to avoid our safety measures, and no sharing of contact details in public areas.
6. Meeting in person
Meetings are arranged and attended entirely at your own risk and responsibility. Follow the safety advice on our Trust & Safety page. DCZ does not organise, supervise or insure meetings between members, and is not responsible for what happens at or after them.
7. Reporting and enforcement
Report anything that breaks these guidelines using Report on the content or profile. We may remove content, warn, restrict features, suspend or permanently end accounts, preserve records and notify authorities, in our sole discretion, with or without notice. Serious or repeated violations can result in an immediate permanent ban. We do not undertake to enforce every guideline against every member or to act on any timetable. Questions: [email protected].
Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for what you post and do. DCZ does not review content before it appears and does not endorse any member or any content.
Legal Terms Applying to this Community Guidelines
Relationship to the Terms of Service
This Community Guidelines is part of, and incorporated by reference into, the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. Capitalised terms not defined here, including “DCZ Parties”, have the meaning given in the Terms of Service. If this Community Guidelines and the Terms of Service conflict, the Terms of Service control, except that where a statute requires a specific process for a specific kind of notice, that statutory process governs that notice. Operator of the Platform: DCZ Media Holdings LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.
No duty, no warranty
DCZ is an interactive computer service that hosts content created and shared by its members. To the fullest extent permitted by law, including 47 U.S.C. § 230 and equivalent intermediary-liability protections in other jurisdictions, DCZ is not the publisher or speaker of member content and does not adopt it. Nothing in this Community Guidelines creates a duty of care, a duty to monitor, a duty to remove, or a duty to act on any particular timetable towards any member, any person depicted in content, any reporter or any other third party, beyond the duties that a statute imposes on DCZ and that cannot be excluded. Descriptions of what DCZ does, tries to do or aims to do describe good-faith practices that may change at any time; they are not guarantees, warranties or promises of any result, and no person is entitled to rely on them as such. Our systems and our team can and will make mistakes, miss content and act late.
Good-faith action is protected
DCZ may, in its sole discretion and without notice, remove or restrict any content, decline to remove any content, limit, suspend or end any account, preserve and disclose records to the extent the law allows or requires, and report matters to authorities. Action taken, or not taken, in good faith is protected to the fullest extent of 47 U.S.C. § 230(c) and every other protection the law provides, and no member acquires any claim against the DCZ Parties because of it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the DCZ Parties are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, reputational harm or emotional distress, arising from or related to this Community Guidelines, any report or request made under it, any action or inaction by DCZ under it, or any content or conduct of any member or other third party. The aggregate liability limits, the sole-remedy clause and the exclusions in § 12 of the Terms of Service apply in full to every claim concerning this Community Guidelines.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the DCZ Parties from and against every claim, demand, investigation, proceeding, loss, liability, damage, penalty, fine, cost and expense (including reasonable legal fees, expert fees and the cost of responding to a regulator, court order or law-enforcement request) arising out of or connected with: (a) content you post, send or upload; (b) your conduct on or off the Platform; (c) any report, notice, request or counter-notice you submit, including any that is inaccurate, misleading, malicious, made in bad faith or made without the authority you claim; (d) your breach of this Community Guidelines, the Terms of Service or any law; and (e) any claim by a person depicted in, or affected by, your content or conduct. This indemnity applies even where the claim alleges that a DCZ Party was negligent, to the fullest extent the law allows, but not to the extent a court of competent jurisdiction finally determines the loss was caused by that DCZ Party's own fraud or wilful misconduct. DCZ controls the defence and settlement of any claim it chooses to defend, and you will cooperate. This obligation survives the end of your account. If you are a consumer, it applies only to the extent the law of your country permits.
Release
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release the DCZ Parties from all claims, known or unknown, arising from the content, conduct or communications of other members and third parties, and from DCZ's good-faith decisions under this Community Guidelines. If you are a California resident you waive California Civil Code § 1542 and any equivalent law of another jurisdiction, to the extent the waiver is permitted.
Disputes
The governing law, the individual-arbitration and class-action waiver and the venue provisions in § 16 of the Terms of Service apply to every dispute concerning this Community Guidelines. Any claim must be brought within one (1) year after it arises, or it is permanently barred, to the extent the law permits a shorter period.
General
This Community Guidelinesconfers no rights on any third party, and no person is a third-party beneficiary of it. If any part is held unenforceable, that part is limited to the minimum extent needed and the rest remains in force. DCZ's failure to enforce any part is not a waiver. DCZ may update this Community Guidelines at any time by posting the revised version with a new date; continued use after the date means you accept it. This page explains our practices in general terms and is not legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship. Nothing here limits any right you have under a law that cannot be waived.
